According to ancient tradition, a cask (barrile) was a small barrel which held the finest wine produced by a bride’s family which they saved especially for her wedding day. Its red life force promises the garnet hues of passionate love.
The bouquet has the elegance of a bride and is as complex as a great love affair. The deep ruby red colour is reminiscent of red fruits sweetly spiced by the wood. Barrile goes well with great roasts, it loves the intense flavours of game and the rounded taste of strong cheeses.
